After your first Bikram class, what was your impression?
After my first class I felt great - tired, but great! I was hooked immediately.
What drives you to continue to practice? What keeps bringing you back?
I have had seven knee surgeries, so there are not a lot of workouts that I can do without pain. I'm so excited to have found a workout that not only feels great but that makes me sweat! It's been a long time since I've felt this good. Since I've been coming (four weeks), I have stopped taking my prescription anti-inflamitories and any other medication I was on. I feel great and everyone at work keeps asking me what my secret is - of course I tell them! Thanks so much!
What are some of the benefits and changes you've seen in yourself?
Since I have begun, I just feel better. I no longer have day to day knee pain and I smile a lot more! I really just feel wonderful. I'm truly hooked. I've only been coming for four weeks and I can't wait to see how I feel after three months!
What is your favorite posture in the series and why?
My favorite posture is the bow on the floor because I have been able to see the changes in my knees. The first class I couldn't even grab my feet and now I can!
What advice can you give to a 1st timer after they complete the class?
